1. Information on how to enter and prizes form part of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 and over only. Employees of Bayer Australia Limited (Bayer), its Agencies and their immediate families are ineligible. By entering this competition, entrants will be deemed to agree with these terms of entry.
3. The 2010 Four-Legged Stars Promotion commences on Monday, May 10, 2010 at 1000hrs and ends on Saturday, August 7, 2010 at 1630hrs (the Promotion Period).
4. Entrants must register on the Four-Legged Stars website at www.fourleggedstars.com.au and click on the links to complete an online entry form and upload their entry which includes in 25 words or less why your pet is a Four Legged Star and upload no more than three (3) images or video (no more than 100mb) supporting your entry.
5. Entrants must include their full name, email address, suburb, postcode and contact phone number.
6. Only one entry per household per week may be submitted. All entries become and remain the property of Bayer Australia Limited.
7. One winner and 3 runners up will be announced on each weekly segment of Talk to the Animals as shown on Channel 9, Saturdays at 4.30pm. There will be 13 weekly shows in total and 12 winners announced (no winner will be shown on the first program as this will be used to announce the promotion).
8. Each weekly winner will receive the following:
a. 1 x Advocate Pamper Hamper which includes a Hamish McBeth Grooming Kit For Long Hair valued at $45, a Good vibrations massage Brush valued at $29.95 and a 6month pack of Advocate valued up to $160rrp.
b. 1 x trophy
9. All valid entries are automatically entered into each remaining weekly Prize draw. The winner will be selected by Bayer on the Wednesday approx. 2 weeks preceding each telecast at 15:00hrs. A Bayer Marketing representative will contact the weekly prize winners by email.
10. Bayer Australia Limited accepts no responsibility for any loss, damages, or injury incurred in connection with taking up the prizes.
11. The Prize is as depicted or described in promotions for the competition and maybe subject to change. Bayer Australia Limited reserves the right to offer an alternative prize pack.
12. The Prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.
13. The Prize winners will be notified by email and phone. The name of the weekly Prize winners will be published on the Four-Legged Stars website (www.fourleggedstars.com.au) on the Monday following each telecast.
14. This is a game of skill. Chance plays no part in determining the winner. Each entry will be individually judged, based upon literary and creative merit. All entries must be the original independent creation of the entrant and free of any claims that they infringe any third party rights. Entries must not have been published previously and/or have been used to win prizes in any other competitions.
15. The judges reserve the right to disqualify any entrant submitting an entry which, in the opinion of the judges, includes objectionable content, including but not limited to profanity, nudity, potentially insulting, scandalous, inflammatory or defamatory images or language. The judges' decision will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
16. All entries become and remain the property of Bayer Australia Limited. Bayer may use the entrants' names and addresses for promotional, marketing and publicity purposes. When you submit any materials via the Promotion including comments, recordings and images (“Content”), you, unless the Promoter advises otherwise, license and grant the Promoter, its affiliates and sub-licensees a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide, irrevocable, and sub-licensable right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish and display such Content for any purpose in any media, without compensation, restriction on use, attribution or liability. You agree not to assert any moral rights in relation to such use, where the moral rights in respect of the Content are yours to assert. You warrant that you have the fill authority to grant these rights.
17. Bayer Australia Limited and its associated Agencies assume no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to, or alterations of entries, and reserves the right to take any action that may be available. If for any reason this competition is not capable of running as planned, due to causes including, but not limited to tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes beyond the control of the promoter which corrupt or affect the administration security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the promoter reserves the rights in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual who tampers with the entry process, take any action that may be available, and to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition. Subject to State Regulation.
18. All details of the entrants will be used and preserved in accordance with the National Privacy Principles. A request to access, update or correct any information should be directed to that office. Unless otherwise notified, Bayer Australia Limited may use the entries and details of entrants for promotional and publicity purposes. Entrants consent to their full names and/or their entries being used in all media by Bayer Australia Limited.
19. Neither Bayer Australia Limited nor their associated companies will be held liable for any loss, damage or injury of the results directly or indirectly from the Winner taking part in any aspect of the Prize.
